Build by 2020
Our organization was created as a Clark County 501 (c) (3) non-profit in 2006, Dream Big is aimed at working with adolescents ages 12-18 to “discover their dream, and follow in it.” The #1 aim is to better fill the gap between what youth want or need and what existing Parks/Rec and non-profit programs in Clark County currently provide.
The mission is to create a safe place where youth and adults dream big, without repercussion or ridicule. The Community Center is to provide an institution, a building, a structure, and a lifestyle to create a culture that will be evident with hope and prosperity.
Identifying a site and creating a funding plan are critical next steps. Funding is anticipated to come from multiple sources – including public agency grants, philanthropic grants, community fundraising, and affordable participant memberships.
